Blockchain Project: Mastercard Crypto Credential

This project, launched in April 2023, offers credentials and verification standards from Mastercard to "help verify interactions among consumers and businesses using blockchain networks." 

A USPTO application was filed in June 2023 for cryptocurrencies and blockchain transaction APIs including identity management and authentication tools and meta data exchange. It also covered connecting virtual asset service providers (VASPs) to other VASPs financial institutions to facilitate crypto transactions, exchange of metadata. And also for software to verify interactions using blockchain networks and to pass end-user identity verifications from virtual asset service providers (VASPs) to other VASPs and financial institutions.
