STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Blockchain Project: Ferrari NFT & Metaverse Program
In 2021, Scudia Ferrari (the Ferrari racing division) signed a $30 million-per-annum partnership agreement with Swiss blockchain-solution company, Velas. Velas was tasked with creating fan-engagement NFTs. Ferrari exited the agreement ahead of the 2023 racing season.
In February 2022, Ferrari announced a the creation of a Web3-development and digital services department within the company: this new department will explore opportunities for Ferrari with VR, gaming, the metaverse, blockchain, NFTs, and more.
