BUSINESS INNOVATION Blockchain Project: BMW Group PartChain
The BMW Group PartChain, launched in March 2020, was created to allow the transparent logistics and administration of data on the materials supply chain. PartChain allows tracking and tracing for components from the raw materials origin point, along the points of transformations during components production, through to the completion of logistics with final distribution - even tracking which components end up in which automobiles. Years later, this project is still going strong.
